"I like when things are crazy. Something good comes out of exhaustion.." - John Mulaney

After a series of increasingly unlucky poker games, Julia was forced to leave her home city of Las Vegas, the land of 110ºF summers, and come to Boston, the land of 10ºF winters. She hedged her bets on Boston College, where her goal was to learn the skills required to be successful in the workforce, pay back her debts, and return home. Instead, she got a degree in psychology.

As luck would have it, her background in behavioral neuroscience was a perfect stepping stone into the Lingwood Lab at the Ragon, where she still studies what makes her fellow lab members act so strangely. When she’s not psychoanalyzing everyone around her, Julia works on immunogen design and B-cell receptor sequencing. She also r̶u̶l̶e̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶l̶a̶b̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶i̶r̶o̶n̶ ̶f̶i̶s̶t̶ runs the day to day operations of the Lingwood Lab.

Her hobbies include: baking, biosafety, disappointing her PI, talking about her TRXⓇ All-In-One Home Workout System, and saying it’s “NevAAAda not NevAWWda”
